  1. Jr. Highers,

I’ve been reading your blogs and I’m blown away by your sense of maturity and your sincere hearts. I’ve known one too many teens that are just too cool to show their emotions or to surrender themselves to God completely. You are being an example to the adults just as you are called to in 1 Timothy 4:12. I urge you to continue challenging each other to live for Christ and to continue to surrender yourselves in spirit to Christ even after you come back from your mission trip. I pray that you have a safe ride home and meaningful conversations!!

Share what you have learned to lead others to Christ. Praying that you will continue to impact the world around you… Wonderfull blog stories & congratulations Arianna & Alyssa for making the best decision of your life to Follow GOD! 6. Hey Jr High Team,
Just read through your blog. It sounds like you are having a great experience in Indy. Im so glad that Jen, Jenny, and Tim took yall. Missions trips are incredible learning experiences.

Im glad that you had such a meaningful individual and team sanctuary/devo time last night too. Awesome!

Two days to go. My challenge to you is to start making the connections to how you apply what you learned to every day life when you get home. Ask Jen how…she’s super smart!

    Peace.
    Daniel

  7. Last night was sooo…..incredable. I was litearly speechless. I am so blessed to have all these wonderful friends so deep rooted in Christ.

After the Sermon last night, we had sanctuary time for however long we needed. I went and sat down by myself and just started praying…for my friends, family and some things that have been on my mind lately. Then all at once i started bawling my eyes out.Almost Imediently Hannah and Gianna came over and started praying. Followed by almost everyone else. But I have to say the single most beautiful moment of the night was when Jon, Gianna, Daniel H, Steph, Hannah and I all went into a prayer circle and just prayed and cried together.
Then once we were all done, we had youth group devotions. Where we all just sang and praised the Lord.

This trip has been sooo amazing. Our youth group has officaly become a family. I love all of the kids in it.

Even though this trip has been so awesome, i do miss my parents AND MY BED! I love you mum and dad! Cant wait to see you! I love you Bella!

  11. (Sorry i didn’t respond sooner..but my blog got erased at the bowling alley yesterday) Ok. Today was the best day of my whole life. After the message about grapes ( that goes with the whole John 15 theme) and Jesus, we had a sanctuary time and there were pics of Jesus…and earlier i had asked God to show me a sign or just move in me. so when I was sitting there i kept thinking of Jesus on the cross saying “I love you stephanie” and “i did this for you”, Jen came over and silently prayed for me. So, then I as was thanking God that He showed me a sign, I saw Lexi come over and she was crying so I just hugged her and prayed for her and she prayed for me and we were crying and then I was looking for some of the girls because something told me to. So I found Arianna and Hannah crying and praying. Then we all prayed for each other and hugged it out and then Daniel H. came over and then we went by everyone else then we all cried and prayed for each other, and we all felt so close, more than ever before and everyone was hugging and crying (even the guys) and we all felt so spiritually revived and soooooo much closer than we had been on Sunday. Then we went outside to do our devos and Josh played By Your Side and Our God (which we had been singing all wk pretty much) and then we ended with Mighty To Save while me and Ebony lead the singing. It was like a dream come true because we were all standing under the stars, standing in a circle, singing one of my favorite songs. Thank you for all your prayers and encouragement, I love you and miss you all. I have so many more stories to tell. Praise God for this amazing night.

    • Ha I forgot to mention that we have this thing with only our youth group called secret encouragers (which is pretty self explanatory) and mine earlier this wk had posted a message on the projector and yesterday I was called up on the stage randomly and everyone sang a song that my secret encourager wrote to me to the tune of jingle bells..hahaha I loved it. I felt very cerenaded. šŸ˜› Oh, and it was so amazing because both Arianna and Alyssa accepted Jesus as their saviors this wk!! PRAISE GOD!

    • That is so AWESOME… From you & Stephanie’s story here it seems like you guys were moved to tears by the worship that was going on!!! Don’t you just love that God moves us to tears in Awe of everything he does for us!! Glad to hear it was so Good.
Dad & I had a “call from God” tonight. We were orignally planning a “date” night, however our dinner ran over at KFC, so we decided we would go another night. Anyway, while sitting in the van about to pull out of the parking lot, there was a man standing outside of our van who motioned for us to wait a min. We rolled down the window slightly to see what was wrong & he said he noticed that we were Christians by the emblems on the van & asked us to pray for him. Long story short, we did and came to find out that he lives in Glendale Heights too and had just heard about our church from the High Schoolers this past week- at the Party in the park and I guess some people were handing out flyers at the mall too.. Anyway, Goes to show that when we plant seeds, we never know when God will use the seeds… Keep planting seeds for Jesus!!! Maybe this Man “Rick” will come to our church sometime!! Love ya… Mom <3 Dad XO XO…

Thank you Lord for our AWESOME youth leaders who are giving up their time to serve with our kids. We pray that you continue to give them the strength to keep up with these very energetic teenagers who never cease to loose their energy. We pray that the kids continue to listen and learn from the leaders and be willing to do what is asked of them. We pray that Tuesday nights free time was a time of refreshment for the whole team & that the kids & leaders have formed a very strong bond! Thank you Lord for this amazing group of kids! We are so proud of them all. Keep everyone healthy & strong to do your will.. AMEN… šŸ™‚

  20. Today I spent my morning worshiping God. I guess you never realize how amazing it feels to be away from everyday distractions like cell phones (which I do miss) but anyways you feel this new sense of happiness, when you do things for the joy of the Lord the happiness you feel is so much more amazing than anything I’ve ever felt before. It’s good to know you can help someone in need ( today it was Linda who’s house we helped organize, I’ll also be there tomorrow). I miss home a little but let me just tell you I’m so glad to be here.
